HOMEMADE CHERRY PIE

I had kilos of cherries from my grandmother's garden during the summer months so I decided to make a homemade cherry pie.  Made pastry from scratch and filled it with cherries and almonds. 

RASPBERRY PASTRY

I got this idea from one of my good food magazines, as always I did slightly change the recipe.  I didn't have fresh strawberries so I filled the pastry with frozen forest berries.  It's ideal with some fresh fruit and some vanilla ice cream.   

APPLE SPECULOOS PIE

A crusty sweet base, layers and layers of apples with a few spoons of apple sauce to make it moist and a crusty topping of speculoos.  Absolutely delish!   Speculoos is a cookie which is super popular in Belgium.

I also heard that they give it on the plane of an American airline but I'm not sure which one..

ALMOND CUPCAKE WITH MARMELADE

This cute almond cupake has a sweet soul, a soul of red marmelade ..

ALMOND COOKIE WITH ICING

A cookie base with a marsipan filling on top which is covered with a thin layer of icing.
